This tie brace links the primary clutch to the secondary to eliminate clutch and crankshaft flex, a widespread problem with the X3. Eliminating this flex will increase belt life, weight arm, and roller life. It is highly recommended for anyone approaching the 250+ HP mark.

When torquing the primary bolt, follow these 5 steps
- Torque primary bolt to 110 FT/LB. Make sure you use the stock Bellville washer.
- Heat cycle the motor by driving at moderate speed until operating temperature is reached.
- Torque primary bolt to 110 FT/LB
- Heat cycle the motor by driving at moderate speed until operating temperature is reached.
- Torque primary bolt to 110 FT/LB
- Torque the secondary bolt to 35 FT/LB
