When modding the Can-Am X3,  don't risk the chance of the stock primary bolt breaking and allowing the primary clutch to come to separate from the crankshaft. Odds are, if this happens to you, it will cause severe damage to the crankshaft, block, clutch, and more. 

  • Stock bolt length
  • It can be reused over and over
  • Works with stock and several aftermarket clutches

When torquing the primary bolt, follow these 5 steps

  1. Torque primary bolt to 110 FT/LB.  Make sure you use the stock Belleville washer
  2. Heat cycle the motor by driving at moderate speed until operating temperature is reached
  3. Torque primary bolt to 110 FT/LB 
  4. Heat cycle the motor by driving at moderate speed until operating temperature is reached
  5. Torque primary bolt to 110 FT/LB
